Closing Comments
EAT SHIP & DIVE is a very clean 2006 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer. She is lift kept and professionally maintained. If you are looking for a clean, well-equipped vessel that is not a project, congratulations, you’ve found it. This current market is extremely brisk, and I fully expect this 340 Sundancer to be sold quickly.
The engine/generator service is up to date (September 2021).
The electronics are original and functional. The chart plotter/radar, while functional, are several generations out of date. If you are planning on doing some coastal cruising and island hopping, I highly recommend updating the navigational equipment.
The vessel is bottom painted, but because it is lift kept, the anti-fouling properties of the paint are nonfunctioning. If you plan on keeping the vessel in the water for long periods of time (more than about 3 – 5 days at a time), you will need to have the anti-fouling bottom coating re-newed.
The cabin dinette table finish is milky. This is generally caused by the humidity and temperature during the original finishing being too high. The milky finish is purely cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the table. If desired, a qualified woodworker can easily refinish the table.
The carpet is original (16 years old). It has been cleaned, but due to its age, it shows some wear and tear and staining. If desired, replacing the carpet is as easy as selecting a qualified installer and choosing new carpet.
